Q. Do solar panels  work when the electricity goes off?

The solar panel will not work in the event the electrical power is cut off. This is to prevent any emergency electricity repairer from getting injured however you can install certain inverter you can install certain inverters that operates as backup power when the electrical supply is interrupted. The extra battery needs to be connected to the inverter for backup. The price for the additional battery varies from different providers.

Q: Is it mandatory to upload pictures of my site when posting a solar project?
   - A: While not mandatory, providing pictures of your site helps in better understanding your project, resulting in more accurate bids from solar retailers.

 

Q: Can I modify my solar project details after submitting them?
   - A: Unfortunately, project details cannot be modified once submitted. It's important to review and ensure accuracy before submitting.

 

Q: What if I'm not satisfied with the bids received for my solar project?
   - A: If you're not satisfied with the bids, you're under no obligation to choose any of them. You can choose to repost your project for additional bids.

 

Q: Is my personal information shared with retailers during the bidding process?
   - A: No, your personal details are kept secure with airbid. Retailers only receive your information if you choose them for your project.

   - A: Create an account on airbid.com.au, log in, and browse available projects. Choose a project and submit your bid during the bidding phase.

 

Q: How do I find projects to bid on as an installer?
   - A: Retailers can post projects to find installers. Simply log in, click on "Post a Project to Find Installers," provide project details, and broadcast it to available installers.

 

Q: How many projects can I bid on at a time as a retailer or installer?
   - A: Retailers and installers can bid on multiple projects simultaneously, based on their capacity and business capabilities.

 

Q: Is there a limit to the number of installers that can bid on a project?
   - A: No, there's typically no limit to the number of installers that can bid on a project. All registered installers within the project area can bid.

 

Q: Are there any requirements to become a registered solar retailer or installer on airbid.com.au?
   - A: Yes, becoming a registered retailer or installer may involve a verification process to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

 

Q: How will I know if my bid was successful?
